REFUND &
CANCELLATION
Understand our policy on payments, refunds, cancellations and postponements.

Payments for KAYA are processed securely via Razorpay. By paying you confirm you have read and agree to the terms below as well as our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
1. Overview
KAYA is a paid participation event. By completing registration and payment you agree to this Refund & Cancellation Policy. Registration fees cover operational costs — venue, infrastructure, kits, food, mentorship, judging and production — and are treated as non-refundable except where explicitly stated below.
2. Fee Structure
Registration is ₹100 per person, charged for every registered team member (leader included) in your chosen competition. Fees are displayed at checkout inclusive of all applicable taxes. Any additional workshops or paid extras announced later will be charged separately.
3. Non-Refundable Cases
Fees are non-refundable if you: change your mind after payment, fail to attend any part of the event, are disqualified for violating the Code of Conduct or competition rules, submit incorrect details that lead to cancellation, or miss deadlines for online submissions. Travel, accommodation or other personal costs are never refundable by KAYA or AZMTH Labs.
4. Eligible for Refund
A full refund (or pro-rated refund at our discretion) will be issued if: (a) KAYA is cancelled by the organisers, (b) your competition track is cancelled and no alternative is offered, (c) a duplicate payment was charged for the same registration, or (d) a payment was debited but registration was not confirmed due to a technical failure. In case (c) and (d) we will reverse the excess charge after verification with Razorpay.
5. Event Postponement
If KAYA is postponed or venue/dates are changed, your registration remains valid for the rescheduled dates. If you cannot attend the new dates, you may request a refund within 7 days of the postponement announcement — requests after that window will not be considered.
6. How to Request a Refund
Email kaya@azmth.in with subject “Refund Request — [Team Name]” from the team leader’s registered email. Include team name, competition, registration date, Razorpay payment ID / order ID, and reason. You can also call +91 63062 94799. Requests must be made within 7 days of payment, except for organiser-cancelled events where we will initiate refunds automatically.
7. Refund Timeline & Method
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method (UPI / card / net-banking / wallet) within 5–7 business days after approval. The time for the amount to reflect in your account depends on your bank or provider (typically 5–10 business days). No cash refunds. Razorpay transaction fees or gateway charges, if deducted, are non-refundable.
8. Cancellation by Participant
You may cancel your registration by writing to kaya@azmth.in before the final registration deadline. Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund unless the case falls under section 4 or 5. If allowed, refunds for participant cancellations may be subject to a processing deduction to cover gateway and administrative costs.
9. Shipping & Delivery — Not Applicable
KAYA is an in-person and online event. There is no physical product shipped. Participation kits, certificates and merchandise — if any — are distributed at the venue or shared digitally via email. No shipping charges apply.
